Operating from his workshop in Birmingham, AL, Kevin Hogg produces custom designed, handcrafted furniture. His methodology of design/build is guided by a firm belief in the beauty and process of hand-craft. As an architecture student at Arizona State University (undergraduate), and the University of Washington (graduate), he was considerably inspired by the American Arts & Crafts, and Craftsman styles. Faithful to these genres, all projects are constructed using traditional wood joinery methods. A philosophy of making the most of usable materials often results in the inclusion of reclaimed and recycled wood.
