Constructed of douglas fir, spruce, and 3/4” plywood, the design of this table is inspired by the craftsman style architecture and building tradition of the Pacific Northwest.

The design concept illustrates the relationship of parts, how they interconnect, and their integral role in the overall structure of the table.

Serving both function and form, the dowels that secure the top to the spanning beam were brought flush with the surface and integrated as a fine detail. Their circular shape are a subtle reference to the spinning platters of the turntables, and the discs that will be played on them.

The dimensions of the table are specific to the stereo equipment for which it was designed, and to the physical height of the client for comfort of use.
